Winemaker: Henning Knipprath
Having developed an interest for wine and viticulture as a student in Germany, Henning began the winery in Spokane in 1991 with a desire to create a family enterprise. Transitioning from his career as a military pilot, Henning had already been crafting several vintages of award-winning wines. With the goal of creating wines with a European flair, Henning employs methods of wine-making traditionally employed in the various European wine regions. Future challenges and goals include further expansion of the winery's distribution into regional and national markets.
